Cycle mak ayah excited nak beli brace padahal kaki anak tak ready lagi..datang balik

Cycle promoter brace pro claimed brace dia bagus and ponseti approved ..datang balik

paling sedih...ARELI IS BACK!!

ada yang kata their doctor claimed nothing wrong with moon shaped brace..

logically, ada ke normal people pakai kasut yg moon shaped sole?

ada tengok tak how Dr Ponseti invented Mitchell...ada sebab sole dia straight..

brace is for maintaining the correction..

Sorry doctor, yang recommend Areli, memang I TAK SETUJU..bangkang sekerasnya!!

secara logiknya, sole kaki yg normal pon straight kan? kenapa nak disengetkan pula?

ada doktor claimed Areli lebih baik sebab permukaan nya keras not as Mitchell or brand 'L'..

apa kene mengena brace permukaan keras lebih baik untuk maintain correction?

Areli is for Metatarsus Adductus...physically pon tak sama mcm clubfoot...

why we need to wear this brace for clubfoot?

what is the purpose?

bracing for clubfoot is to maintain correction bukan nak re-shape the feet..

so, please tell those yang recommend Areli ni apa justification dia?

Yup. ..that was our doctor claimed to us also..

did you ask your doctor why the foot is not responding to the method?

Dr Syikin once told me they have done almost everything to help my daughter's feet but the feet is not responding well..

rupanya2...memang all doctors on that year ARE NOT FULLY trained on Ponseti Method but claimed they practised it...no wonder every appointment we received different feedback from different doctors...

What is the damage?

Relapse, unsuccessful treatment, casting more than 10x, causing hyper extended toes (noticed by Dr Pobseti himself) and took a year to manipulate n casting, and 2 tenotomy has been done.

So lesson is, whenever your doctor claimed they r using the ponseti method, please make sure, you read carefully the protocols stated in Ponseti International before you claimed one to me.

Even you say your brace is also Ponseti claimed brace, hmmm ..think twice..

As I hv not seen Dr Ponseti hold your brace before..so why should I believe you?

I've been in your shoes before and I have faced many challenges before you know.

So don't tell me...'my doctor also practise ponseti'...well after 14 years, I dont think so and I do not agree with you.. 🤷‍♂️

so kalau tanya which doctor yang I boleh recommend, which is the best hospital for clubfoot and what not..

I will tell you NONE in Malaysia..but boleh pergi yang ramai pergi iaitu HUKM, HKL & PPUM.

Entry kali ni nak bercerita ttg clubfoot remaja..yelah kan anak den dah masuk 15 tahun pada tahun 2022 ni..

Agak mengecewakan bila ada yg dah stop brace bila umur anak baru 3 tahun..

Even lah doctor tuh discharge, continue je lah pakai brace sekiranya tiada halangan..

Kalau relapse, tak pasal je kena pasang simen balik...tak ke aniaya anak ?

Ponseti International memang recommend pemakaian brace until umur anak 5 tahun..

Makanya, bila ramai dah tak pakai brace Lepas umur 3 tahun, ramai lah mengadu anak jalan kaki ke dalam (toeing in)

Maaf lah .. Anak sy pakai brace sampai umur 5 tahun..mmg discipline..

Kaki Dania pernah relapse akibat jahilnya doctor dan kami 14 tahun dulu..

So rawatan dah sampai ke Bangkok, takkan nak buatkan kaki anak relapse pula?

Keraskan hati..jalan terus..

Dia pandai buka brace, kita bangun dan pakaikan balik..

Masing2 ada kekakangan, sy tahu..

Tapi cuba lah selesaikan once and for all..

Penat dan dah berkali2 cakap..

Tapi ada juga yg lompat bintang bila anak dah start jalan..

Bila dah start rawatan, cara berjalan tuh yg membezakan anak u clubfoot atau tidak..

Ini latest kaki Dania...flatfoot kat normal feet belum hilang...
