How to prevent relapse?

Honestly, only God knows...

Tapi kita boleh usaha..

what we did?

We prolong bracing time.
As long as our baby tolerable with the bracing time, continue bracing as long as you can.
We maintain 23 hours for 3-4 months, 16-18 hours for for 4 months juga..
Then when Dania starts walking using knee, baru kami pendekkan 12-14 hours..
Meaning night time 10 hours plus 3-4 hours day time during nap time, or whenever she is not fussy.
Then we all continue night time bracing until she is 5 years old.

So don't get too excited bila doctor sure reduced time or discharged bracing time.
Sebabnya, bila kaki dah start stiff, Anak dah biasa tak pakai brace, dah lasak berjalan, nak pakaikan brace balik memang payah,

So masa baby ni lah kita boleh control bracing time dia.
Ni cara saya lah..Dania pernah relapse masa kat HKL.
Nak start all over balik is too painful..

Doctor hanya recommend bila sepatutnya reduce bracing time and also discharged.
Tapi kita boleh je customised.



Dania started bracing when she was 1 year 2 months old. After 5 cast in Bangkok, she starts wearing Mitchell Brace on 6th week of treatment. Kami bawak je kemana aje kami pergi with her brace ON..

Jangan malu dengan anak pakai brace...
